Solidarity Rate
A greatly reduced rate in honor of creating access for folks and organizations who are experiencing economic hardship or are less resourced due to systemic oppression.
Consider the solidarity rate if you struggle to maintain access to needs such as health care, housing, food, child care, are supporting children or dependents, are an elder with limited financial support, are an unpaid community organizer, are descended from enslaved people or Native American Indians, struggle financially due to immigration or incarceration status, or are living paycheck to paycheck or are in significant debt.
Base Rate
The true cost rate for my services.
Consider the base rate if first, it’s accessible to you, you are single and without dependents, own or lease a car, have employment, have employer health insurance or benefits, have access to health care, have some expendable income, can take a vacation annually or every few years without financial burden, or may have some debt but it doesn’t prohibit the attainment of your basic needs.
Abundance Rate
A rate for folks and organizations who have access to financial wealth, endowments, structural advantage, or limited barriers to financial access.
Consider the abundance rate if you are able to comfortably meet all your basic needs, own property or rent high-end property, own assets such as a car, have expendable income, access to savings, have a relatively high degree of earning power due to your education, race, or gender, or if you work full-time or do not need to work to meet your needs.
